Marina prepares her repertoire with the vocal coach Vitor Philomeno since 2012 and has singing classes with Mirna Rubim since 2007. In 2009 and 2010, in New York, she studied acting with Lorraine Serabian and attended vocal classes with Tony Manolli, Deborah Birnbaum, Lorraine Nubar and Stephen Smith. Since 2011, Marina also works her opera repertoire with the Italian pianist Fabio Centanni in workshops. In 2014, in the roles of Drusilla and Venere, she acted in the production of the opera "L'Incoronazione di Poppea", at the Planetarium theater in Rio de Janeiro. In 2015, as soloist and producer, she participated in the concert "Calvariae", conducted by Vitor Philomeno, presenting motets of Antonio Vivaldi and "Stabat Mater" by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, at the historical church São Francisco Xavier, in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. As soloist, Marina took part in the concert "Dois Sopranos por Baixo", directed by Vitor Philomeno, singing arias and duets from operas by Mozart, Menotti, Delibes, Massenet, among others, at the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil, in Rio de Janeiro. Further in 2015, as soloist and producer, she took part in the show "Arte por Elas", under the musical direction of Mirna Rubim, at Paris Show, in the House for Arts and Culture Julieta de Serpa. In november of the same year, also as soloist and producer, she first starred the recital  "Mélodies", at the Theater Maison de France. In 2016, she acted twice as Adele in Johan Strauss' operetta "Die Fledermaus", produced by Estudio Voce, musical direction of Mirna Rubim and stage direction of Menelick de Carvalho. Her acting was praised by www.movimento.com, the main independent reviewer of classical music in Brazil. In April, she performed three times with the Young Orchestra of the City of Guarulhos (Orquestra Jovem de Guarulhos), singing Vivaldi's Magnificat, under the direction of Emiliano Patarra. In May, she presented Gershwin songs at the Fashion Mall theater and, in June, Brazilian songs as part of the Gala di Voce series. During 2016, she expanded the show "Mélodies" and, together with Mirna Rubim and videoart by Marc Kraus, re-staged it at the UFF's Theather, at the Fashion Mall theather and at the heart of French culture in Rio de Janeiro, the Theater Maison de France, with great sucess of media and attendance. Her project "Opera as movies", with clips of arias from operas, shows that opera is young and for all.  * Photo: Andrea Rocha
